What is LCA?
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a field of science that attempts to measure the environmental impacts of products and processes. It takes into account the materials and energy required to make a product/process and evaluates the environmental impacts of the materials and energy. Finally, it considers these results to help you make better decisions about using a product or a process.
How to do LCA?
To do LCA, you need to do the following.

1. Determine the scope of the project
2. Conduct an inventory analysis
3. Conduct an impact assessment
4. Interpret the impacts
5. Suggest decisions

You will find detailed instructions on how to do these five steps in the next tabs.
Why do LCA?
Conducting LCA will help you understand the environmental impacts of different products and processes. With this understanding you will be able to reduce your overall environmental impacts which promotes sustainable development. You can also use you understanding to help others compare alternatives and make better consumer choices!
